@MacSparky Interesting. My only interest in FS is ability to sync iBooks bookmarks with my wife (it uses Apple ID instead of iCloud ID).

@macsparky Yuck. Thanks for the heads up. I was going to create a new AppleID and then add me and my family to it. I'm going to hold off.

.@MacSparky thanks for writing this up. I tried Family Sharing but stopped for 1) no iTunes Match and 2) cannot share purchased iCloud space

@MacSparky I have to agree that the app update issue is a deal breaker. I plan on backing out for that reason alone.

@MacSparky sounds like you've got your own version of trade negotiations vis-a-vis devices on shared accounts. May the force be with you.

@MacSparky while literally almost of all of us did it, isn't sharing one iTunes account and apps and stuff against the mythical ToS?

@MacSparky I'm in partial FS mode. Was nice to get my 5 year old an iTunes acct. Maybe use it just enough to get under the 10 device limit?

@macsparky Thanks David was contemplating moving to Family Sharing will hold off for a bit
