Xcode Cloud limited beta coming today, will be available to all devs next year. Pricing and availability info coming this fall.

Collaborators can see the results of code changes, and Xcode Cloud can also push new builds out for testing automatically. TestFlight is coming to the Mac for the first time too.

Xcode Cloud simplifies the app development workflow, making it easier for teams to collaborate. When you make a change in Xcode Cloud, it’s rendered in the cloud so devs can check it for bugs without having to use up the resources on their machines.

In-app events can be showcased on App Product pages, and users can sign up to learn more or join the action. Events will show up in search, and will be recommended to users.

App Store will highlight In-App Events, for apps that are hosting special events like Pokemon Go.

App Store Product Pages will now be able to be customized for different users, and A/B testing will be available so developers can figure out what works best.

Swift is getting a new Concurrency feature for building apps responsive to user input while doing work in the background.

There’s a new Object Capture feature for creating 3D content. Can take photos of object on iPhone or iPad, import into Cinema 4D, generate AR preview, and create a 3D model in minutes.

There are a LOT of APIs for developers this year, like the ones for SharePlay, voice isolation, focus, notifications, a new widget size, a screen time API, always-on apps for watchOS.

We’re moving on to new features designed for developers.

Web extensions are coming to Safari on iPhone and iPad.

Safari browser for iOS features Tab Groups at the bottom of the display to make it easier to access all of your tabs. There’s also a grid view for seeing all open tabs, and a customizable start page for the same Safari experience across all devices.

Tab groups are available across macOS and iOS too.

You can share tab groups with other people.

You can organize tabs into different sections like planning a trip, saving a group of recipes, and more. You can save your tabs and come back to something later.

Tab bar blends into the page, plus the active input window is available in whichever tab you’re using.
