Any country with a blasphemy law is not civilized. It is a preposterous concept.
-
I guess Canada just became civilized in 2017 just 7 years after Scotland. I do feel less barbaric now.

Responsible action by twitter in my opinion. They’re not cencorsing the tweet but warning him they’ve been contacted by officials. Basically... stay away from Pakistan.
-
Are you serious? Warming a Canadian about what. Saying what you wants in Canada is God given rights. If you think another country will change that. I have new for you. It’s not going to happen.
-
Warning a Canadian citizen that a Pakistani government official has flagged a tweet for a breaking a law that’s punishable by death. Now, he knows that he’s been flagged by a foreign government for a bullshit crime and knows it’s probably best he stays away from Pakistan >>
-
related consulates or country’s closely allied to Pakistan. Given track records of these countries actions in the name of Islam (Asia Bibi for eg)... I’d say it’s pretty fucking responsible to pass on the message... have you read the article?? >>
-
They haven’t censored the tweet they just warned that the tweet was flagged up by the PAKISTANI government.. if they never sent the message, and he went to Pakistan, was arrested/murdered it be on twitters shoulders for not warning him.
-
I REPEAT... THEY HAVE NOT CENSORED HIS TWEET!!!
@MaajidNawaz is pointing out how unreal it is that the Pakistani government have asked twitter to remove it under a blasphemy law... punishable by death.
