I appreciate the extraordinary gift of a chosen pregnancy. I do not think human life is disposable like trash. It's why I believe healthcare is a human right. Feminists believe women and men should be treated equally under the law. Have a good day!

This is a personal decision for a woman to make. I know women who were raped and chose not to be punished for the crime of the rapist. I do not have the answer for every woman, and I don't think you do either. Women can choose for themselves, as they have done for millennia.

More importantly, the Constitution explicitly separates church from state. Religious doctrine must not shape the law. If your religion tells you abortion is the same thing as murder (mine does not), then it is your choice NOT to have an abortion. Choice always goes both ways.

Congratulations on your anecdote, an argument however it does not make. Feel free to read all of the stories about how abortion has saved lives. You’ll find they far outnumber your anecdote.

I’ve never heard of abortions saving lives. Where does this come from?
