Progressive activism has completely hijacked epistemology through the dilution of words that previously had specific and technical meanings.

If you're so inclined then I suggest also getting it inside of you. But you should probably do it with your eyes instead, one word at a time.

The symbols consist of two digit 1s arranged as eleven in base 10, with the digit 2 or 3 respectively superimposed on top. Nevermind that there is no "eleven one" or that "eleven two" corresponds to the base 10 value of ten. The proposal then quickly went off the rails further.

A few months ago one of my friends from my master's cohort argued for the utility of a base 12 system. He made a lot of really good points and I was on board with it until his proposal got around to the extra two digits, which he called "eleven two" and "eleven three."

Base 10 isn't logical, and is as much of a historical artifact (because humans have 10 fingers) as any other counting/measuring system. Since these aliens have 6 fingers, they should be asking why humans don't use the obviously superior base 12 for all of our numerical needs.

I'm just going to have to come to terms with the fact that, unless they already know, absolutely no one cares about the difference between "ammonoids" and "ammonites" and that almost all popular usage will always be incorrect as a result.

I want to write some new serious™ style threads, but my brain has been burnt out for a bit and it might take some time to recover enough to do that well. And honestly I think that most of what I missed from Twitter is how irreverent I'm allowed to be on here.

And this should go without saying, but focusing on a malfunctioning immune system and trying to fix it is not the same as hating the body itself. Once again, it is, in fact, quite the opposite.
