    I've fought for a long time to improve winter maintenance on 11/17. Our caucus introduced legislation to make both highways Class 1 priority for snow removal. We will make winter maintenance public again to restore accountability and improve service standards.

    Absolutely agree! will: - Repeal Bill 124 and restore respect and fair compensation for educators. - Hire 20,000 teachers and education Workers. - Double the Rural and Northern Education Fund. - Increase special education funding.

    Education workers in Algoma-Manitoulin have signed a letter to the next Premier of Ontario calling for a commitment to the funding necessary to improve working and learning conditions in Ontario’s public schools.

    We can fix health care, home care and LTC. We can make life more affordable long-term — reduce housing costs and take dental, mental and pharmacare off of folks' credit card bills. But to do it, we have to beat Ford's Conservatives now. Together, we can.

    Instead of fixing what’s broken, Ford has cut billions from health care, seniors care and education. And he's cutting $2.7 billion more. Bottom line? If you're not one of Ford's buddies, this ain't it. The NDP have a plan to invest in families and fix what matters most.

    Just had an amazing conversation with MPP about the long-term care home crisis in Ontario. We're hoping for a future with a minimum of 4h of care per resident, adequate LTC staffing, and no more for-profit LTCs.
