There have been 8,000 threats against members of Congress since January 6th, election workers across the country are leaving their positions out of fear for their safety, there are over 400 bills introduced in states to stop the freedom to vote. The stakes have never been higher.

It takes a lot 2 surprise me in 2021, but this positive & important news included in the FY22 DOD Appropriations bill does. Enables transit agencies to partner with non-profits to provide more housing near transit. Thx !

How the funding in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Legislation is allocated is crucial in the promotion of safety, resiliency and equity. States, counties, cities, rural towns and tribes all have a part to play.

If you care about the right to Vote, call your Senators today and tell them to support the Freedom to Vote Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Act. Democracy can’t wait!

Note to 2022 self: Do NOT take on that end of year project. You are too tired and worn out to write one more coherent sentence. Leave time for holiday baking, movie watching, family and yourself. Please friends....remind me of this next October!!!

Yes, and maybe a good reminder that transportation isn't the ends but the means to climate resiliency, racial justice, thriving communities, inclusive economies, healthy people.

If we don’t support those who are most able to reimagine a different world, the little progress that we do make often wouldn’t even happen. It is often their vision that creates change.

This is a climate issue. This is an equity issue. This is a traffic issue. This is also avoidable but no one even discusses it. I'm just angry. What about those kids whose parents cannot rearrange their work to drive their kids? What about the lack of safe streets?

Almost every single day this year my child's morning bus has been late. So now we, a hhld where neither parent drives to work, must drive our kid to school because there is no safe way for him to walk or bike to HS. Some parents can do this.
