This means I pay approximately a (figurative) 6% tax for my healthcare, right now! That also does not include ANY of the copays, deductibles, or out of pocket expenses that I could accrue. 5/

For the sake of argument, let's say I visit my doctor twice, and hit my deductible once: $35 + $35 + $700 = $770. In total, for the year, I would have paid $4,820, compared to just $2,720 for Medicare For All. I still saved $2,100 for the year. That is 2-3 months of rent! 6/

When I was first introduced to Bernie's idea, it seemed impossible to me, too. However, after taking the time to do the math, it became obvious.
