What kind of "democracy" do we have if candidates supporting the most popular policies are thought of "not having any chance"?

these policies aren’t popular. m4a has like a 40% approval rating, lower than trump’s

Trump's healthcare plan was barely in the double digits from memory. Are you sure about that...?

Unless you're talking about his overall approval rating, in which case I still think you're wrong.

trump’s approval is 42% the kaiser poll (best and most in depth one i’ve seen) found that - americans oppose m4a after being told it will decrease overall healthcare costs but have an increase in taxes (48-47)

Framing of the question is crucial. When speaking with constituents, I explain how their fear of an increased tax is unfounded. They need to see hard numbers to realize that naysayers are misleading them. 1/2

Yes, it goes up. Though, after I walk them through the math, they quickly flip their stance. I use my Insurance vs M4A, then put their numbers in. It becomes immediately clear to everyone.

Hi Xavier, I'd love to see you make that case. Is there any article (or other media) where you've written this? Sounds very effective

When I get home, I will find the post I made and copy the response, here. It is pretty simple, yet thorough.
