Each newly graduated student becomes a productive, contributing member of society. Degrees were never meant to be throw-away. Rather, they were designed to instill the skills needed for productive employees; a benefit only seen by the profiteers of business. 2/3
It is high time all of society benefits from students entering the workforce, highly skilled and trained to take on future jobs, even standard, long-lasting jobs.
An investment into our youth to get the education they need is, simply put, a no-brainer.

It always amazes me when people have to have things like this explained to them. Do they not understand cause and effect chains??
There is so much good we could do by joining these ideas in tandem. "Worried about losing your fossil fuel job? No problem, getting a college degree is free, our Green New Deal has a job already waiting for you, and while you're out of work, you will have full medical coverage."
