I'm a gun owner, and support others being able to, as well. However, I'm pro common sense gun legislation. I know some people fear their guns being taken away. I believe that people have the right to own firearms as well. As a gun owner how do you feel about a ban on assault rifles? They serve no purpose but to shoot down a lot of people at one time. I am truly curious to know your feelings on it.
One victory at a time. I've no need to ever own an assault rifle, and not too sure why others do. Regardless... One victory at a time. Let's get the background checks, first. Then, we can move the conversation forward, rather than spinning our wheels, as we have done for decades.

No I totally agree. It's just we had a ban on assault rifles and Bush Let It Go and during that time we had far less mass shootings.
