I believe that people have the right to own firearms as well. As a gun owner how do you feel about a ban on assault rifles? They serve no purpose but to shoot down a lot of people at one time. I am truly curious to know your feelings on it.
I'm a gun owner, and support others being able to, as well. However, I'm pro common sense gun legislation. I know some people fear their guns being taken away. One victory at a time. I've no need to ever own an assault rifle, and not too sure why others do. Regardless... One victory at a time. Let's get the background checks, first. Then, we can move the conversation forward, rather than spinning our wheels, as we have done for decades.

Background checks are federally required for retailers and FFL Dealers(operate gun show,online,etc); Only sale that doesn't have the BC requirement federal is private
