I have noticed that many of the people I know who are not directly impacted by many of the crises going on in the US, and around the world, have a large tendency to say, "What crisis? Everything is fine from here." If you are standing on the far side of a sinking ship... 1/3
it may only appear you're getting closer to the stars. It also means that the ship is still sinking. Also, we are ALL in this together, whether you would like to believe it, or not. Throwing people off the boat may slow the sinking... 2/3
but you fail to resolve the actual problem that will kill you, too. As the band keeps playing on.
