I'm more concerned with: If a channel hasn't reached that threshold, will YT put it in recommended searches? Wouldn't they want to recommend channels that are monetized more than those that aren't?

My guess is no. They'll always prioritize money makers. Also YouTube never responds to twitter.... Or anywhere else....

If it is no, it'll make getting to those minimums much harder. I think it's time for me to start teaching the MTG YouTubers how to do this.
