    9/10 But the 2014 Ebola outbreak in West Africa changed this. What had been seen by rich countries as a "problem" for people in parts of Africa now looked like a global threat. This got the international community to act, but the human cost of the delay by that point was obscene.

    8/10 So when DOES big Pharma step up on issues like these you ask? Well let’s look at the Ebola virus which has claimed lives for 40+ yrs. Until recently, nothing significant was done to develop vaccines and treatments because…you guessed it…it wasn't commercially attractive.
