    I wrote up a talk I gave earlier this month. It includes the 'trumpet of amplification' and 5 best practices for reporting on disinformation. I hope they might inspire some new year conversations in different newsrooms in preparation for 2019

    Never forget the real heroes who have supported him this entire journey: Jenna (his wife) and Eileen (his Mom). MAD PROPS TO THESE LADIES. (On day 44 of his 53 day journey they took stock of his remaining food via satellite phone and made a meal plan for Colin)

    The brilliant , who has been reporting on Colin's journey from the beginning has set my facts straight: It was actually 921 miles! He did the final 82.3 miles in one shot without sleeping for 32 hours.
