We've seen who aligns himself with. He profits off white supremacy while pretending to be a populist looking out for us.

If my rent can go up every year, so can the minimum wage

One big way CBO says a $15 minimum wage would increase gov't spending is through Medicaid. That's because home care workers make such awful pay, and the law would require giving so many of those workers raises

Raising the minimum wage will be good for business, help workers and their families get out of poverty, and put us on track for shared economic recovery. -Jennifer Todd, Owner, LMS General Contractors

Fun fact: If your company can afford a $5 million 30 second Super Bowl ad, they can afford to raise your wage.

Gov. Parson is still demanding MO residents suffer for his mistakes regarding unemployment overpayments. Call him at (573) 751-3222 to say it's wrong to take back the money people used to pay rent and buy food in a pandemic.

Following the release of a Congressional Budget Office report finding that increasing the minimum wage to $15/hr would affect the federal budget, St. Louis Which Wich Sandwiches worker and and a Union leader Frances Holmes released the following statement

Essential workers across the country are facing a crisis. We risk our lives at work every day during a pandemic because we can’t afford to miss a paycheck, and even then we’re forced to rely on public assistance because companies like McDonald’s pay us starvation wages. The CBO report confirms what we already knew -- the Senate can raise the minimum wage to $15 as part of the COVID relief package.

We don’t need excuses from our nation’s leaders — we need relief. Poll after poll shows overwhelming support across party lines for a $15 an hour minimum wage. With $15/hr, 32 million workers like me will get a raise, helping us recover from the devastation of the pandemic and rebuild our communities. Fifteen dollars an hour must be a part of the COVID relief package. Politicians need to stop playing games with our lives.

  9. BIG NEWS: the Progressive Caucus has secured the inclusion of a $15 minimum wage in the House's pandemic reconciliation package. This has been a leading priority for our caucus and would give 27 million (!) low-wage workers a raise.

History is unfolding right now in Alabama. A Black women-led group of Amazon warehouse workers is on the verge of organizing the company's first U.S. union. If they win, it could reshape the lives of hundreds of thousands of Amazon workers.
