  1. Juvenile Crime Task Force officers arrested 3 men Mon night in the midst of an apparent carjacking spree. 2 separate victims were hit in head with a gun. The suspects, ages 32, 21 & 17, are being held on multiple robbery & firearm charges. These guns were recovered.

  5. BREAKING: The 2 persons killed by gunfire within the stolen pickup truck on I-24 this morning are identified as the driver, Abdiwahab Adan, age 12, & the driver's side rear passenger, Donquez Abernathy, age 14. A 16 yr old surviving passenger is suspected in the shooting.

  6. This morning's gunfire that killed 2 persons & wounded 2 others inside a pickup truck on I -24 near downtown appears to have been contained within the truck. 1 gun was recovered from the vehicle, which was stolen last week from South Nashville.

  9. Don't forget that Nashville's COVID health orders include a mask requirement. We're grateful that most are complying. 17 persons received civil cites for mask violations downtown Fri & Sat. 2 more received misdemeanor cites. 3 persons were arrested for blatant refusals to comply.

  10. If you're visiting Nashville's entertainment district tonight, PLEASE wear a mask & help control the spread of COVID-19. Fri night, 14 persons received civil cites for mask violations. 2 others received misdemeanor cites. 1 man was arrested after he ran from officers citing him.

  12. BREAKING: Thomas Vaden III, 21, arrested for Mon afternoon's critical shooting of Randal Faulk, 56, outside Faulk's California Drive home. A tip to Crime Stoppers led to the development of Vaden as a potential suspect. He is charged with felony aggravated assault.

  13. Fatal collision now being worked at 1901 Lebanon Pike. The inbound lanes are closed. Traffic is being diverted onto Briley Parkway. The victim is a pedestrian who was picking up traffic cones near a construction project when he was hit by a pickup truck.

  14. UPDATE: Mr. Pruitt was found this morning at a local hospital where he is being treated for minor injuries resulting from a fall. His truck was found earlier today parked outside a Jefferson St business.

  16. One of those Dodge cars impounded last weekend as part of the street racing initiative had some interesting contents. Found during the execution of a search warrant today were a pistol, marijuana & a ski mask. More charges are forthcoming against the 29 yr old driver.

  19. These 2 Dodge cars were impounded after their drivers were arrested during Sat night's street racing initiative. Both drivers sped away from ground units but couldn't evade a police helicopter. The initiative resulted in 17 stops for speeding, loud mufflers, careless driving, etc
