    Immediately following a terrible crash that killed a Airman recently, a bystander and first responders went out of their way to provide comfort and ensure he was treated with dignity and respect. We sincerely appreciate the actions of those on the scene that day.

    The memorial is located on the property of Helen and Larry Krippner who, along with the local community, were instrumental in ensuring our fallen Guardsmen will be honored and remembered for years to come.

    The official dedication of the Minnesota Army National Guard Fallen Soldiers Memorial took place today in Kimball to honor three Soldiers from the who were killed Dec. 5, 2019, when a Black Hawk helicopter crashed during a maintenance test flight.
