Do you not understand the difference between the 'tab' for sending people to prison versus the 'tab' for property restitution? HUGE DIFFERENCE. I'd far rather see the money benefit the local community than those who prop up the injustice system.

Did you miss the part where I agreed about prison? My concern is the moral hazard if society is consistently paying to remedy crimes without any consequences for criminals. Think a few moves ahead on that one. It’s also weird when you guys pretend to care about costs.

I would agree w/u about lacking consequences for criminals. However, we would probably disagree on what we constitute as 'serious crime'. The real criminals are the corrupt people masquerading as our representatives while stealing our tax dollars.
