Thank you, we've been trying very hard to turn blue but some specific problems tend to get in the way of thatpic.twitter.com/fOcYXFWzDw

Gee, thanks! I'm one of the (admittedly few) Texans who has barely left my house for a year. I wear masks. I distance. I wash & sanitize. I'm TERRIFIED right now & likely won't be allowed to get a vaccine before MAY! Thanks for saying my life doesn't matter to you.

We're also like you - quarantine started for us last year in January. We haven't traveled or left home much. We've had a baby - while wearing masks (awful.) We wash wash and Purell constantly - all this to protect ourselves from the red town we live in here is Texas.

please don't say things like this. Texas leadership may be saying this but the people of Texas do not feel this way. We have a lot of people in Texas that need our help and have been abandoned by their local/state governments. We can't abandon them too :( we need to help them

2nd time I’ve seen this take - and no. There are good people in Texas. Can see Molly Ivins & Ann Richards up above going, “oh hell no; we fight for the good people & we get the idjits out of our government” Or something along those lines

Texans lost that battle long ago.

Can we not do the thing where we address the entire population of a state as a monolithic, unworthy, contemptible entity? Thanks!

I have a dear friend who lives in TX who hates everything about this & disagrees with the governor. And like her, there are millions more.
