I really appreciate kindness. I appreciate people checking up on me. I appreciate a quick message. I appreciate those who ask if I'm okay. I appreciate every single person who has tried to brighten up my days. It's the little things that matter the most 💜

When adversity strikes, I often think I have to choose between being mad at it or growing from it. I'm learning this is a false choice. It is possible to simultaneously be mad about the injustice, fight for what I need, accept what I can't change, and grow stronger and better.

Great point on recognizing children’s mental health care is different from adult mental health care. Panelists are also reporting suicidal ideation in patients as young as three years old
