Italy seems to be past the midpoint. We predict this will end with 140,000 to 150,000 cases and 17,000 to 20,000 deaths. As terrible as this is, there are normally 1,765 deaths in Italy on a average day.

You are so right. This is all true. Italy has been badly hit. Some small towns devastated. Still, the coronavirus reign of terror in Italy is coming to an end. I love Italy and it was my honor to be interviewed by LASTAMPA yesterday.

Hello Dr. when you expect the decrease of infections around the world or each country has its own case?
As the rate of contact goes down new infections should slow down. But even with less contact if more of those people are infected that will keep the rate up.
Would you be able to project total deaths with no lockdown measures?
