You are so right. This is all true. Italy has been badly hit. Some small towns devastated. Still, the coronavirus reign of terror in Italy is coming to an end. I love Italy and it was my honor to be interviewed by LASTAMPA yesterday.

So how many deaths per day are they experiencing now? Is there a seasonality to the 1765 deaths per day number (I imagine many more during winter)? More data please?
As the rate of contact goes down new infections should slow down. But even with less contact if more of those people are infected that will keep the rate up.
