MLC's server suffered a hard drive failure today and will need a day or two to recover and restore from backups. It isn't believed any actual data was lost, but we're still investigating. Sit tight! #boinc

It's been a while since our last update, but MLC's been chugging away, with DS2 at 99%, and DS4 WUs out in testing. Expect a new news update before the end of the month. Today we ran into a little glitch with disk space, but should be back up within the hour. #boinc

MLC@Home's network will be going down in an hour or so for some brief preventative maintenance. The website and project site will be inaccessible, but should be back within an hour or so. Will update here when completed! #boinc

Coming back online now. New/fixed WUs flowing again, but the post-mortem continues on our end to make sure this doesn't happen again. Note it may take several days for existing WUs to work their way through the system. #boinc

We're aware of the current issue with WUs coming from the server.. this is a server-side issue, nothing a user has done (aka, our fault, not yours!). We're triaging and working on a fix. Thanks for your patience. #boinc

Tracking an issue with memory usage on the new client causing failures. Temporarily bumped minimum memory requirements per WU as a workaround while we debug.

We're updating to a new client version tonight that's incompatible with the current crop of WUs, so expect some inconsistent availability of WUs over the next 24 hours as we transition.

We've run out of work currently for CPUs! This is a good thing, as it means we're nearing DS3's completion. However, we're working to release more CPU work within the next 24 hours, either remaining DS1/DS2 or (hopefully!) DS4. Thanks again to all our volunteers! #boinc

MLC@Home is testing a new client in the mldstest channel to generate CNN networks as well as RNNs. This sets us up to verify weight-space clustering occurs in CNNs as well as RNNs. Expect some turmoil in our testing channel while we work through the early issues. #boinc
