This is ridiculous. Every team calls each other to gauge what they might do during the offseason. Happens prior to the July 31st Trade Deadline too.

That seems like quite a jump to assume AA is saying that all the teams have planned who is going to sign who... sounds more like he is saying he knows what position interest teams have and what trade chips are available.

MLBPA won three collusion cases against the owners in the 80s, and got a settlement of another grievance in 2003. Given that history, AA's statement is most definitely worth looking into.
