Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him delivered the msg of Allah that mentioned the Black Hole in the Holly Quran 1440+ years ago: Al-Jawari Al-Kunnas which means:{large stars that run fast and sweeps the sky} Another proof that the Holly Quran is the true book of All Mighty God.

Is there annotation to this blurry shot? Say the blackhole structure, spinning direction, if any?

The image presented has been reconstructed in order for it to be visible as a photograph of it. It was, in fact, received by the EHT in terms of electromagnetic radio signals, that are invisible and so cannot be seen. This point should be made known clearly to the general public.

@MIT And that key point explains why the are no visible distant stars seen in the vast, black, deep space beyond the black hole as it is at the core of a large galaxy of billions of stars that surround it and would be visible if this image was a photo of visible light.
