Quote from Dr Mary Ramsay, PHE's Head of Immunisation, reading: It is remarkable that the vaccine programme may now have prevented over 100,000 deaths in England alone. Everyone that has come forward for their vaccine has played a part in this vital effort.
To build on this success it remains important that everyone gets 2 doses of the vaccine, to protect you and those around you from COVID-19. You must get 2 doses to gain maximum protection.
