What analysis has been undertaken on the small number of people who have received one of these very unlikely blood clots? Are they all people that had an already increased risk of blood clots due to other factors, such as for example on the pill if affecting mostly young women?

You are twice as likely to be struck by lightning then die from a blood clot after taking the AZ vaccine.

Following a rigorous scientific review of all the available data, the evidence does not suggest that blood clots in veins are caused by #COVID19 Vaccine AstraZeneca. People should still go and get their vaccine when asked to do so. Our new statement: http://ow.ly/uWIi50E2gdr  pic.twitter.com/CQ3dyAQ8ja

Right so should we be the unlucky ones who get a blood clot, what is the advice if we get this clot? Get some clarity going...

I’m 25, a woman and suffer both a blood & heart condition. I have had dose one of Oxford Vaccine. I don’t feel safe getting the second, is there a way for me to start over with an alternative? I don’t just feel unsafe but also betrayed

Sorry to hear. I had my first AZ jab and a few days later I was in hospital with DVT. It was dismissed as being related. I’m mid 30s and a healthy adult. I feel totally gutted as a vaccine for me was a golden ticket to normality but I really don’t want my second AZ dose😢
