Dan Neidle added,
Thanks Dan. These are living documents so the points you flag will be reviewed, yes. We can let you know if we make changes, if that would be of interest.
Thanks. More interesting to understand how they got there, given they’re not subtle mistakes but obvious howlers.
I spent half an hour looking at the rest of the UK entries yesterday and there are a number of similar problems. Mainly due to using poor quality or out-of-date sources.
I think this really points to a need for peer review of both criteria and data by practitioners!
Yes, we had a global review of the entire methodology during 2016-2017. Some great feedback, strengthening and updating the approach - the reports are on the site. The points raised here on other pieces of material are welcome too.
Alex, if you’d be interested in setting up a panel of willing peer reviewers, I’d be happy to volunteer and to help find others.
I have started going through Switzerland and will offer comments but it is not a detailed review. In general I think there are lots of people willing to do this kind of thing :)
Alex, I've been reviewing it (for CDI) ....It was me asking tweeps technical questions that set off this twitter review ;-)
Oh dear! I'm afraid that people have been spending their time on the elements that go alongside the index, rather than forming part of its construction. We're grateful but perhaps it's not what you need
No i can see that. The questions with the asterisks go into the index, right? Still though things like 4 KPMG staff in Ireland and 'Anglo Saxon' law, missing the UK's FTT etc law stick out to people -- they cant help noticing!
