I’m suggesting it should mean more than that. See car analogy. Differing points of view on that. Particularly re whether widening inequality is intrinsically a problem for all SDGs e.g. health and ed. My instinct is yes, but ethical problems either way

The question is: does inequality matter per se, or do avoidable harms matter? If the former, then you would want to reduce the inequality even when you cannot reduce harms to the worst off. i.e. you would want to stop gains at the top e.g. curbing my learning, or dina's meds.
