If Multinational Corporations stopped exploiting countries like Nigeria through Tax malpractices and other illicit financial flows there probably wouldn't be a need for foreign aid. The revenues from blocking these malpractices would render aid unnecessary.

I disagree. Development of industries won't automatically translate into revenues for government. The govt needs to tax more effectively and efficiently.

I agree. Nigeria (with her large informal sector, lax enforcement & weak govt institutions) has much more to worry about in increasing DRM than MNCs.

That which is a curse for Nigeria is not the aids given by the West but those criminals who impoverished our people & betrayed our trust & stole our monies & keep in same countries which exploits Africa with their aids.
