I'll just take it as my annual reminder that its not worth trying to have a conversation on Professor Murphy's blog. It is striking that members of the Tax Justice movement, NGO allies, sympathetic academics etc... also tend to steer clear.

Dan, the manner in which you rip into TJN is far more aggressive and insulting than RM"s post above - which seems pretty tame to me. And Maya"s casting aspirations above at least as significant and mean (and wrong from what I've seen). Bit of perspective needed methinks

It's sad we can't always seem to discuss this sort of thing without using ad hominem approaches. As
@_alice_evans says need to look at evidence. This includes assessing its weight, partiality, etc, but that's surely where we start. As Dan and I have seen it can happen.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
