I used to think condescending guys were bit tedious.
But now i think sexism isn't just sexism.
Their unquestioned assumptions about gender may suggest intellectual laziness & little critical reflection generally?

I think we are all intellectually lazy & avoid critical reflection most of the time (just through human nature & lack of bandwidth) -- whats valuable is processes & conversations that force us to 'think slow' & stand on the shoulders of other's slow thinking....
...we all ignore some things, & take time to think about others. & we do it selectively to avoid cognitive dissonance, & based on markers of 'what's important'. The unconscious bias thing I think comes in 'cos 'whats important' tends to be associated with old/rich/white/men etc
