Ditto ( obvious & kinda goes without saying - ->) Owen Barder is someone who is utterly commited to making the world a better place, including by reassessing beliefs and evidence. He is respectful and generous to people, but tough on ideas ( even on social media! )

I'm not sure that giving people a negative impression about a place is 1. so terrible or 2. avoidable. This isn't limited to aid but e.g. journalism about life in South Carolina

Hi Lars, I understand the instinct to be suspicious of those who have previously criticised Oxfam. But I try to reflect on the evidence and analysis, rather than dismissing important concerns & making ad hominem attacks.
