      That's what I'm most excited about. Can I ask - is the MIUI operating system objectively annoying or just to ppl used to regular Android? (ie:how motivated should I be to unlock etc..?)

      Just to people used to regular android I think. They've really improved it over the last few months too. I'd advise running with it for a few weeks and if it's annoying you then let me know and I'll send you a few videos showing how to install stock Android.

      I've stuck with the MIUI operating system and just use all the google apps, its fine for me

      That's good. Nova Launcher can recreate the traditional Android homescreen style too, if you don't like the MIUI way of putting all apps on the homescreen (like iOS).
