      You don't agree tax dodging deprives countries of resources that could go on public services? I think you expect a lot from a 2-min film intended to raise awareness of the issue, as part of a wider tax/inequality campaign.

      The key $100bn figure they quote is misleading. Very little of it relates to Africa.

      That’s incorrect. The WHO data they cite relates to poor countries to which only 15% of the $100bn relates. That’s highly misleading.

      What's incorrect in what I said? I said tax dodging is a global issue. It is. And the film doesn't relate to Africa. Which it doesn't.

      72% of the WHO estimates relates to LICs and LMICs. The $100 bn avoidance estimate mainly (85%) relates to UMIC and HIC developing countries -- taxes collected in China & Mexico will not be spent on basic healthcare in Malawi & Cambodia.

      Capacity building for tax inspectors a helpful contribution from UK. Campaigns which present companies investing in developing countries as masked villains not so much.           Not seen anyone arguing against better tax compliance. Q on video/article and if fair reflection of problems, poss solns, outcomes. If we use third party allocation of $3bn tax lost, with Lancet analysis, that gives $300mn for health. A modest sum, yet may be sig for outcomes?
