Leak illustrates some serious problems. From outright evasion, corruption, over opaque dealings with problematic individuals..

.. lack of oversight, etc. And then there’s all the “grey zone” stuff - tax avoidance, establishing structures in unexpected locations, etc.

But there’s also the mere association with Appleby and the leaks, which in and of itself should not attract criticism as such.

I’m sure this will be a divisive point but IMO there are completely fair reasons to be in the leak and in offshore locations.

Even so, we do need to consider association in terms of supporting the offshore system and the large systemic issues in the intl order.
