Anyone out there: is there a legal/substantive distinction between privacy and secrecy? Or is it just one's good and the other's bad? Ta

I think - secrecy means no one knows, privacy means access to info is controlled (e.g. medical records = private, not secret)
But yes, often used to indicated wholesomeness or shadiness depending on whether the person applying the label wants to say good or bad!
