#openownership How have the privacy aspects been considered? Law abiding ppl having assets searchable vs criminals hiding more carefully

I own a web development business & also half of a company which owns our office building. Why shouldn't the general public know this?
What if u didn't want them to? It comes down to Q of if lawabiding person doesnt want their assets in a public searchable register is it ok?

Perhaps there would be a way to opt-out. Perhaps they will want to move their assets to other areas if they don't want to be associated.
