Identity theft, sure. That needs to be a high priority. Although disclosure of assets, I disagree. If you have significant shares in a corp.
But why? Why is that the business of your neighbours, general public (rather than the business of those you do biz with & law enforcement)

I own a web development business & also half of a company which owns our office building. Why shouldn't the general public know this?

What if u didn't want them to? It comes down to Q of if lawabiding person doesnt want their assets in a public searchable register is it ok?

I don't see why the extra rights you have as a business owner, shouldn't also come with extra responsibilities. Transparency being 1 of them
