If you think we are should be allowed to talk about this issue clearly (or any difficult issues on which people might take offence) now is the time to speak up. If you think universities, think tanks, media, NGOs should be holding the line on freedom of thought speak up.
On the other hand if you think the judgement was right & employers should be able to fire people for believing what I believe then by all means have the courage of your convictions & say that.
If you think it is safest not to express any opinion at all about the judgement then self-censorship is going further than the judgement itself. In the end it is not the disciplinary processes and tribunals which shut down debate, it is that we install them in our own heads.
