So going back to your Q why should a male's lived experience of having a feminine gender identity grant them access to facilities and rights that were set up for members of the opposite sex -- given that this will disadvantage those people that the rights were established for?

I would want to retain data collection & human rights protections based on sex (which includes the right not to be discriminated for being gender non-conforming in appearance). Different beliefs about gender identity can be accommodated, just like different beliefs about gods.
