By definition, programming is not innate. We all learn how to become human, never mind men or women. It's a cultural thing. With gender roles, it's a case of garbage in, garbage out.

The science seems to tell us there is no such thing as innately gendered minds ie gender doesn't really exist. It's just a meme, the result of relentless social conditioning.
