Which is the exact opposite of where we want to be - which is people talking, in a rational, normal, grown up, good faith way about how to protect everyone's human rights.
Its crazy that scientists are having to write to newspapers to clarify what *everyone already knows* (and that they have to be brave to do it) but I am glad they have.
