The Gender Recognition Act was established to enable a legal fiction to accommodate transsexual people who had undergone surgery --to give them a right to privacy from revealing their true sex when it is not relevant.

Children should not be undergoing this kind of surgery. Their healthy bodies should be protected. They must have time to explore the psychological reasons they feel dissociated from their bodies.

“Lead by @Mermaids_Gender and @Genderintell”... or perhaps they actually have a mind of their own, have studied the claims from people like you and find them facile and false! Perhaps they just do want to tackle in equality unlike your bigotry!

Perhaps they could publish the research and analysis they have done that underpins the campaign? And them people can examine and discuss that like adults instead of shouting insults.

Not to mention surgically turning straight kids gay!

And surgically turning bi kids bi, BUT IN THE OTHER DIRECTION! I don’t even want to say what they’re doing to the ace kids!

How is a change to a law a "legal fiction"?

Legal fiction is a phrase used in law when creating a legal framework for something that is not a physical reality. For example in Company law a limited company is known as a ‘person’. Obviously no Company is a living human but the fictional status of a human person is used.
