This is incoherent "There is no gender equality without reproductive rights; we support bodily autonomy & a person's right to choose". Which person though? The person who does the impregnating or the person who does the gestating? Weird how we cant have a word for those peoplehttps://twitter.com/SGPWomen/status/1202190125213659137 …

Why is that even a choice? Reproductive choice of all persons regarding their bodies is to be supported.

Its so weird that society never came up with a word or a concept for the class of people whose bodies have the potential to get pregnant and give birth 🙄 It would have been useful in talking about their rights. Oh well, nevermind. They probably don't matter much....🤷‍♀️

They matter as much as other people, and body autonomy is a right for everyone or for no one.

Reproductive rights on the other hand are not symmetrical between the two groups. Reproductive rights are not about "a person's right to chose"...they are about a specific type of person's right. A type of person we are told no longer needs a name

NO. They are about all persons' rights. Only the particular application is different for pregnant persons, but not the right itself.

Aren't there some kinds of reproductive rights that apply to some kinds of people *before* they become "pregnant persons"? Wouldn't it be useful to have a name for those kinds of people? In whose interests is it not to have a name?
