A few anti-trans British women were not pleased with me b/cuz I chose to do other things rather than argue with them online. I admittedly underestimated the prevalence of this platform in U.K. & am grateful for any links/leads to scholars(hip) on modern British transphobia.

Ugh. I find the prominence of transphobia among British academics one of the more depressing aspects of living here.
