Hear, hear! This is exactly the sort of situation that Labour will have had in mind when saying in the manifesto that they will ensure the Equality Act is properly understood and used.
I hope so because this nonsense has already affected single sex schools and the lead and exemptions need clarifying fast before the rot well and truly sets in
