      (which sounds reasonable but legally does not work ). Julie makes the strong case that this is not a debate where "both sides are as bad as the other" and Trevor agrees. This is about men bullying women. Ayesha brings up suicide stats and says can't we just all be nice?

      Maya, totally in your corner. My metaphor won’t survive legal scrutiny I know. But the point is that self-ID bullies will destroy all that has been achieved on equality during the past 50 years - for example, making accurate pay gap reporting - gender or ethnicity - impossible.

      I often hear people arguing; man with no penis - women shouldn't refuse him. And I think of how they expect me to explain to my daughter. Hey sweetie. See those two men? One of them you have to get undressed with and one of them you don't. I'm afraid you can't say no to all men.

      ... the logical corrollory of the 'no wedding tackle' starting point is that if it is a legitimate aim not to put women (or transsexuals) in this situation, then it is a proportionate means to provide some other dignified unisex option for males who don't want to go in the mens.

          That’s the point isn’t it. Men who enjoy femininity shamed into claiming (perhaps believing) they are women. ‘No man can possibly enjoy femininity ergo I must be a woman’. Such misogyny from start to finish.
