I havent looked at @fawcettsociety for ages as irrelevant to important issues. Shocked how few likes they get - often just 4 per post but have 55 thousand followers. Either bots or sliding into irrelevant oblivion

The @NWCI - main women's org in Ireland - have 32K followers, usually only a handful of likes. Their pinned tweet for 'Femfest', Ireland's 'largest conference for young women' has 27 likes. Then again at least 1 of the speakers responded with disgust to the suggestion that 1/
2/ women should be allowed talk about male violence in the context of retaining single-sex spaces. This was under an article she'd written about how women shouldn't be harassed for... talking about & taking steps to avoid male violence.
